Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlos Neves started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Pontegaos FC's Amílcar Vaz got a free kick in the 5th minute. José Campos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Domingos Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domingos Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Campos in the 11th minute of play. José Campos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, Pontegaos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Carneiro came free, but Domingos Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Santos charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Santos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd minute, Jorge Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Duarte Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duarte Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Campos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that José Campos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domingos Marques was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. If Duarte Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Pontegaos FC booed when SC Campina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Duarte Carneiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Mariano Reis charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mariano Reis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of SC Campina:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pontegaos FC:s goal. 2-0 became the score in the 81st minute when Carlos Neves elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tomás Assis came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Pontegaos FC's Carlos Neves. But to his dismay, Carlos Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 87th match minute, SC Campina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Mota to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Jesus might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomás Assis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Jesus ran back to his position shaking his head. Duarte Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
