Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cândido Cruz got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute of the match, Daniel Pinto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nuno Melo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Carvalhal FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Paulo Queirós hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, SC Moliana's Cândido Cruz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gil Faria narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Domingos Trindade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gil Faria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingos Trindade's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. After 21 played minutes SC Moliana got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Neves. Domingos Trindade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Gil Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cândido Cruz came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the SC Moliana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cândido Cruz couldn't finish the play. Gil Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Trindade in the 28th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, one of SC Moliana:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Daniel Pinto hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Tomás Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gil Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Trindade in the 45th minute of the match. Rui Mendes's late challenge caught a SC Moliana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rui Mendes helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 played minutes Carvalhal FC got a freekick which was hit by Rui Mendes.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Pinto was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in SC Moliana's zone, Rui Pires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Melo came out of the goal and Rui Pires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Nuno Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Carvalhal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cândido Cruz came free, but Gil Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Moliana's Nuno Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Pinto in the 62nd minute of play. Gil Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cândido Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rui Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Melo having to interfere. Daniel Pinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the game, Eduardo Baptista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carvalhal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Moliana the free kick. In the 85th match minute, Carvalhal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Baptista to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, SC Moliana's Amílcar Brás tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Cândido Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
