Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Artur Brito started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Alvaredos's Artur Brito in the 3rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Lourenço Setúbal was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for SC Cortinhal through an amazing save. When Rafael Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Alvaredos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Carvalho couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute Alvaredos were awarded a corner. Lucas Nogueira went to the cornerflag to take it. When Rafael Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Alvaredos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Carvalho couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Rafael Carvalho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lourenço Setúbal was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 15th minute Alvaredos were awarded a corner. Lucas Nogueira went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Alvaredos's Pedro Viana getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 26th minute Artur Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lourenço Setúbal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Lourenço Setúbal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Cortinhal's goalkeeper Lourenço Setúbal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 37th play minute Rafael Carvalho came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lourenço Setúbal. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Afonso Anjos to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Alvaredos's Armando Pinto got control of the ball when Daniel Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afonso Anjos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Afonso Anjos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Armando Pinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Daniel Silva fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Daniel Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Anjos in the 77th minute of play forced Alvaredos's goalkeeper Armando Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Cortinhal were furious when Francisco Magalhães was red carded, 79 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 79th minute, one of SC Cortinhal:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Cortinhal. In the 85th minute, Artur Brito made a precise shot to the right of Lourenço Setúbal. SC Cortinhal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Artur Brito struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Lourenço Setúbal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alvaredos. Alvaredos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
