Álvaro Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Álvaro Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute, Basílio Fonseca had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nuno Pinho during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Seiros booed when SC Azedeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rui Guarda's late challenge caught a SC Azedeira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rui Guarda helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th match minute, Seiros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. After 19 minutes, Vítor Delgado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seiros and the SC Azedeira players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rui Guarda was shown his second yellow card after 24 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Rui Guarda hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After 27 played minutes Seiros got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Delgado. After recieving a nice pass, SC Azedeira's Pedro Correia tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Seiros's goalkeeper Lucas Leal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nuno Veiga succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 35th playminute. 38 minutes into the game, Ricardo Valente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Azedeira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Seiros the free kick. The supporters of Seiros booed when SC Azedeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Valente didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute of the match Pedro Correia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucas Leal skillfully saved the ball. Nuno Veiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Lucas Leal made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Afonso Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Nuno Pinho notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Seiros's Lucas Leal. Lucas Leal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 68th minute there was a penalty for SC Azedeira. Pedro Correia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lucas Leal. 3-0. The audience was convinced that Alexandre Assunção's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucas Leal was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. When Nuno Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the SC Azedeira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Veiga couldn't finish the play. If Nuno Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89 minutes, Manuel Delgado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seiros and the SC Azedeira players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Seiros getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Manuel Delgado hit a great ball. After having played for 100 minutes, Nuno Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Azedeira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuno Veiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SC Azedeira were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Seiros for a fine match.
