Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Paulo Rodrigues made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute of the match Fábio Neto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amílcar Abreu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 6 played minutes Murriao FC got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Neto. The supporters of Murriao FC booed when Nozedo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Vaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Paulo Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Murriao FC's António Oliveira got control of the ball when Jorge Antunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 26 minutes, Tomás Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Murriao FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Vaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. António Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Tomás Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Amílcar Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Assunção hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Amílcar Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Vaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 39thth minute of the game Tomás Vaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nozedo's Amílcar Abreu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jorge Antunes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but António Oliveira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. If Jorge Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Murriao FC's Francisco Magalhães got a free kick in the 44th minute. Jorge Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Álvaro Luz to make the kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Jorge Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nozedo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Antunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amílcar Abreu made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Tomás Vaz sent off a good shot on target. Jorge Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. António Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Álvaro Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Antunes in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck António Oliveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Vasco Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nozedo's supporters rose to their feet, but Vasco Reis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. António Oliveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amílcar Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Rodrigues in the 86th minute of play. After 88 played minutes Nozedo got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Dias. António Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jorge Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
