Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when André Gueifão kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Caselas's goalkeeper Catarino Fontes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 8 minutes, Eusébio Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Anreade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusébio Gonçalves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of SC Anreade booed when Caselas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Fernandes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Catarino Fontes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Daniel Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Caselas's Catarino Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Nascimento in the 30th minute of play. After 30 minutes, Joaquim Abreu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caselas and the SC Anreade players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Caselas getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Joaquim Abreu hit a great ball. David Nascimento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Catarino Fontes having to make a save. Daniel Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th match minute, Caselas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Cabral to maneuver through the defense. If Daniel Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Caselas's zone, Daniel Fernandes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Catarino Fontes came out of the goal and Daniel Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 48 minutes into the match, SC Anreade's goalkeeper Tiago Garcia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardo Oliveira.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Nascimento was the one to do the kick off. André Gueifão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 57 played minutes SC Anreade got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Gonçalves. When António Delgado fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caselas's protests and gave António Delgado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute, one of Caselas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Caselas. The referee gave SC Anreade a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nuno Assis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Caselas's Catarino Fontes. 0-2. The audience was convinced that Daniel Fernandes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Catarino Fontes was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. If David Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, SC Anreade's goal looked a bit too open when André Gueifão came free, but Tiago Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 played minutes SC Anreade got a freekick which was hit by David Nascimento. In the 82nd minute André Gueifão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Gueifão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to SC Anreade getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Pedro Abreu hit a great ball. Eusébio Dias hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Bernardo Oliveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tiago Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The SC Anreade supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Anreade would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
