The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Hugo Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusébio Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 5th match minute, SC Anreade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. SC Anreade's Tiago Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Assis in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, SC Anreade's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Assis came free, but Tiago Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SC Anreade's zone, Ricardo Assis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Garcia came out of the goal and Ricardo Assis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the match, SC Anreade's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Campos came free, but Tiago Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Figueiredo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but David Nascimento showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. With 20 minutes on the clock, Óscar Valente commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. If Hugo Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Hugo Campos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiago Garcia. SC Anreade's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugo Campos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Assis made a kick off. SC Anreade's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Ricardo Assis scored to the left of an out of position Tiago Garcia, making the score, 2-3. Ricardo Assis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Garcia having to interfere. With his leg Tiago Garcia managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Fontao FC's Hugo Campos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 62nd minute, Ricardo Assis fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tiago Garcia, passed just outside the right post. 63 minutes into the game, Eusébio Gonçalves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Anreade's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fontao FC the free kick. Eusébio Gonçalves hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Tiago Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Assis in the 68th minute of the match. Fernando Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Fontao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Fernandes came free, but Fernando Figueiredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The SC Anreade supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Fontao FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Fontao FC.
