After a rather tough play, SC Medonha's Vítor Antunes got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Óscar Carneiro hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. When André Mendes came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Malpartida fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Mendes couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lúcio Amorim got free with Filipe Anjos in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of SC Medonha booed when Malpartida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Gueifão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaime Magalhães in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vítor Moura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lúcio Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Anjos having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Magalhães in the 86th minute of play forced Malpartida's goalkeeper Vítor Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artur Soares ran back to his position shaking his head. 95 minutes into the match, SC Medonha's goal looked a bit too open when André Mendes came free, but Filipe Anjos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Medonha's Jorge Delgado got a free kick in the 96th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
