Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Malpartida's André Mendes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 played minutes, Malpartida's Cristóvão Luz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Viriato Leite came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Malpartida reached it. Viriato Leite made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Lúcio Amorim sent off a good shot on target. 11 minutes into the match, Lúcio Amorim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Viriato Leite. SC Abadessa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lúcio Amorim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lúcio Amorim got free with Viriato Leite in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vítor Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Macedo in the 18th minute of play. SC Abadessa's Viriato Leite proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save SC Abadessa from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Malpartida's zone, Xavier Vaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vítor Moura came out of the goal and Xavier Vaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute Xavier Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Xavier Vaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that André Mendes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Viriato Leite was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Mendes in the 43rd minute of play forced SC Abadessa's goalkeeper Viriato Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xavier Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Vítor Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xavier Vaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. André Mendes took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Viriato Leite. Viriato Leite dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Lúcio Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Viriato Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viriato Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Mendes in the 66th minute of play. Lúcio Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, Xavier Vaz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vítor Moura, 2-1. In the 92nd match minute, SC Abadessa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Torres to maneuver through the defense. Malpartida's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Xavier Vaz scored to the left of an out of position Vítor Moura, making the score, 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
