Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Artur Soares kicked off to start the match. Filipe Anjos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Vaz in the 3rd minute of the match. SC Medonha's Jaime Magalhães got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Óscar Carneiro charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Óscar Carneiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SC Abadessa booed when SC Medonha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Óscar Carneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Jorge Delgado's late challenge caught a SC Abadessa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Delgado helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, SC Medonha's Filipe Anjos got control of the ball when André Macedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Viriato Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Magalhães in the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Viriato Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. André Macedo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Filipe Anjos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. SC Medonha's Artur Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Xavier Vaz made the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes of play SC Medonha's Jorge Delgado was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Medonha! Filipe Anjos had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping Carlos Barbosa's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Jaime Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Xavier Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 played minutes SC Medonha got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Borges. 72 minutes into the match, SC Abadessa's André Macedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filipe Anjos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jaime Magalhães in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Viriato Leite, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. André Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Anjos having to interfere. Filipe Anjos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Vaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The supporters of SC Medonha booed when SC Abadessa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaime Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Xavier Vaz notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of SC Medonha's Filipe Anjos. Filipe Anjos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Óscar Carneiro hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. André Macedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Abadessa's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
