Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) André Mendes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Gaspar during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Obidos FC's Pedro Gaspar got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Malpartida's Vítor Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Faria in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th match minute, Malpartida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. The Obidos FC fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Obidos FC's Daniel Faria looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 13 minutes, Lúcio Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malpartida's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lúcio Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lúcio Amorim got free with David Viegas in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the match, Lúcio Amorim notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Obidos FC's David Viegas. David Viegas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If André Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Viegas having to interfere. Vítor Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Magalhães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Faria in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vítor Moura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vítor Moura came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Obidos FC's David Fonseca. But to his dismay, David Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. David Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Vítor Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Faria stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Lúcio Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malpartida's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lúcio Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Fonseca's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Vítor Moura skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rui Brito charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rui Brito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Obidos FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Rui Brito hit a great ball. After 70 minutes of play, Malpartida's Lúcio Amorim made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Viegas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bento Marques hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Daniel Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vítor Moura read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Obidos FC's David Viegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Amorim in the 89th minute of play. Catarino Luz hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The supporters of Malpartida booed when Obidos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Pedroso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malpartida's Cristóvão Luz took a good shot, in the 95th minute, which hit the crossbar above David Viegas's head, and flew over the goal. Obidos FC's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Malpartida.
