Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After 3 played minutes SC Falagueira got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Gomes. The audience was convinced that Fábio Trindade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquim Dias was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 11th minute, David Cardoso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Sousa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Bento Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Joaquim Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fábio Trindade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fábio Trindade struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Joaquim Dias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Sousa. After 23 played minutes SC Falagueira got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Gomes. SC Sousa's Jaime Vale couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Falagueira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Trindade in the 31st minute of play forced SC Falagueira's goalkeeper Joaquim Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute of the game, Eusébio Gomes landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. In the 36th match minute, SC Sousa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. Fábio Trindade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Dias having to interfere. The supporters of SC Sousa booed when SC Falagueira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lúcio Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bento Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Joaquim Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fábio Trindade was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Lucas Guarda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Falagueira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Guarda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucas Guarda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Valente having to interfere. With a little luck, SC Falagueira's Joaquim Dias got control of the ball when Bento Branco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lucas Guarda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Rogério Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Lúcio Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Falagueira's supporters rose to their feet, but Lúcio Leite was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogério Valente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Lucas Guarda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fábio Trindade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Falagueira's Joaquim Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Trindade in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Lucas Guarda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Falagueira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 86 minutes into the game, Lucas Guarda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Falagueira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Sousa the free kick. The supporters of SC Sousa booed when SC Falagueira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Guarda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Guarda took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rogério Valente. Rogério Valente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. SC Sousa's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
