After a rather tough play, SC Armazens's Ricardo Leite got a free kick in the 9th minute. The audience was convinced that Luís Trindade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Mendes was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Luís Trindade ran back to his position shaking his head. SC Armazens's Ricardo Leite got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd match minute, SC Bafareira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Faria to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, SC Bafareira's Fernando Pires got a free kick in the 36th minute. Luís Trindade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 minutes of play, SC Bafareira's Luís Pinto made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustavo Mendes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristiano Jesus to make the kick off. Luís Pinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Gustavo Mendes made a huge save. Luís Trindade did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Gustavo Mendes 64 minutes into the match. When Manuel Dantas fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Bafareira's protests and gave Manuel Dantas a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Trindade in the 69th minute of play forced SC Armazens's goalkeeper Gustavo Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Jacinto Pires was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Armazens's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Bafareira the free kick. After a rather tough play, SC Armazens's Jacinto Pires got a free kick in the 71st minute. Luís Trindade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Gustavo Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Luís Trindade reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gustavo Mendes. The goal made the score 0-3. SC Bafareira's Eusébio Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Jesus in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Luís Pinto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustavo Mendes. SC Armazens's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Pinto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. SC Armazens's Gustavo Mendes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save SC Armazens from getting a goal against them. Luís Pinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Anjos charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Anjos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. SC Armazens's João Anjos got his second yellow card of the match in the 92nd minute. The referee ordered João Anjos off the ground. João Anjos kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 94th minute, but Gustavo Mendes got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving SC Armazens hanging dry this time. Gustavo Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Trindade, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded SC Bafareira left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SC Armazens.
