Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute Raul Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Raul Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Manuel Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Reis in the 11th minute of play. Manuel Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When Hélder Matos came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Benfarras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hélder Matos couldn't finish the play. Hélder Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Gil Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benfarras's Rui Fontes shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 23rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gil Miranda but with some difficulty. In the 24th minute, Nuno Reis made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Melo. Benfarras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of Creixomil FC booed when Benfarras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Benfarras's João Gomes got a free kick in the 30th minute. Raul Fernandes might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Melo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raul Fernandes ran back to his position shaking his head. Creixomil FC's Nuno Reis got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hélder Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Gil Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nuno Reis made a kick off. After some careless play in the Creixomil FC defense, Hélder Matos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gil Miranda. The Creixomil FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gil Miranda should have stopped the shot. Basílio Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Gil Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Melo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nuno Reis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 58 minute of play. Hélder Matos might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gil Miranda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hélder Matos ran back to his position shaking his head. Nuno Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Raul Fernandes in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Creixomil FC's Gil Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basílio Viana in the 87th minute of play. With a little luck, Benfarras's Manuel Melo got control of the ball when Duarte Paredes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Creixomil FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Creixomil FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
