Contige FC's Emílio Pinheiro suffered a concussion in the 58th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexandre Matos during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Contige FC booed when Momprole was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Momprole fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Vieira should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Contige FC's José Bessa got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Manuel Lopes hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Contige FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Barros came free, but Inácio Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Bruno Torres collided with one of Momprole's players - so bad that he fractured his nose. 88 minutes into the game, Duarte Domingues was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Momprole's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Contige FC the free kick. The Contige FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Momprole from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
