Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rogério Machado got the match started through his kick off. Rogério Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Aleixo having to interfere. Daniel Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Amadeu Aleixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th match minute, Caravelas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Tavares to maneuver through the defense. Amadeu Aleixo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogério Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sérgio Guarda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Borba in the 23rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Esteves got free with Amadeu Aleixo in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Esteves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Amadeu Aleixo made a huge save. If Basílio Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Basílio Soares was the one to do the kick off. The tension between the SC Fernandilho and the Caravelas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th match minute, SC Fernandilho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Porto to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Pinho didn't quite understand what happened when in the 58 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Daniel Esteves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Fernando Torres fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Fernandilho's protests and gave Fernando Torres a yellow card for diving instead. SC Fernandilho's Sérgio Guarda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basílio Soares in the 85th minute of play. Daniel Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
