Vasco Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Mariano Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vasco Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Carvalho having to interfere. When Joaquim Pinheiro came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Jancido FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Pinheiro couldn't finish the play. If Joaquim Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 26 in the game by Vasco Sousa from a close distance when the talented Mariano Carvalho managed to make a qualified save. Murtede FC's players were relieved. With a little luck, Murtede FC's Mariano Carvalho got control of the ball when Vasco Sousa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Rui Guerreiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jancido FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Murtede FC the free kick. The supporters of Murtede FC booed when Jancido FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Guerreiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rui Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Cândido Ferro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute Diogo Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cândido Ferro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Murtede FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Vasco Sousa 35 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. 40 minutes into the game, Rui Vieira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Cândido Ferro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Joaquim Pinheiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jancido FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Pinheiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariano Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

In the 52nd minute, Joaquim Pinheiro made a precise shot to the right of Mariano Carvalho. Murtede FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Vasco Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Carvalho having to interfere. Vasco Sousa struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Mariano Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jancido FC. Cândido Ferro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogo Mendes in the 63rd minute of play. Vasco Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. With his leg Cândido Ferro managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Murtede FC's Rui Vieira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Vasco Sousa came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Jancido FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vasco Sousa couldn't finish the play. After 81 minutes of play Jancido FC's Rui Guerreiro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 82nd minute, Rui Guerreiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, Diogo Mendes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cândido Ferro, 3-2.
