Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Miguel Faria started the match with the kick off. Vicente Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Miguel Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nadais's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Faria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. António Brás breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Miguel Faria came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Nadais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Faria couldn't finish the play. António Brás took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Branco hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Nadais's Emanuel Paiva got control of the ball when Amílcar Carneiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vicente Andrade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without António Brás having to make a save. When Amílcar Carneiro came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the SC Machede fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amílcar Carneiro couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Antunes in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Paiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by António Rocha during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 39 played minutes Nadais got a freekick which was hit by António Rocha. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nadais's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tiago Brás was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Machede's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Nadais's goalie and right to Alexandre Santos. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Nadais's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a defensive mix-up in Nadais's zone, Domingos Pinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Paiva came out of the goal and Domingos Pinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miguel Faria struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. António Brás didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nadais. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emanuel Antunes to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes SC Machede got a freekick which was hit by Luís Branco. António Brás was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Miguel Faria capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Miguel Faria really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 72nd minute Miguel Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Brás saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Paiva having to interfere. If Miguel Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hélder Bessa during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th minute, Hélder Bessa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Jorge Resende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiago Brás, 84 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
