Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emanuel Antunes started the match with the kick off. Rodrigo Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Antunes in the 8th minute of play. Emanuel Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fundegos FC's Rodrigo Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílcar Carneiro in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Fundegos FC's David Araújo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that António Brás narrowly saved just below the crossbar. David Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Tiago Brás hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to SC Machede getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Domingos Pinho hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, SC Machede's Domingos Pinho got a free kick in the 20th minute. Fundegos FC's David Araújo got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 32 minutes, Hugo Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Machede's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Paiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Amílcar Carneiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Rodrigo Veiga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th minute, Amílcar Carneiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amílcar Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Araújo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. António Brás showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Fundegos FC's zone, Amílcar Carneiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Veiga came out of the goal and Amílcar Carneiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SC Machede's António Brás played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Araújo in the 56th minute of play. Amílcar Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Veiga having to interfere. In the 62nd match minute, Fundegos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. SC Machede's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tiago Brás in the 65th minute. The corner led to SC Machede's Inácio Borba getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Fundegos FC's zone, Emanuel Antunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Veiga came out of the goal and Emanuel Antunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 70 minutes into the game, Emanuel Antunes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rodrigo Veiga. Emanuel Antunes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. SC Machede's António Brás played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Araújo in the 73rd minute of play. Vítor Paredes's late challenge caught a SC Machede's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vítor Paredes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SC Machede booed when Fundegos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Paredes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amílcar Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes in the game, Domingos Pinho fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rodrigo Veiga having to interfere.
