Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amadeu Rodrigues started the match with the kick off. Álvaro Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Amadeu Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Álvaro Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Lourenço Tavares could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Álvaro Ramos however easily saved by the left post. In the 11th minute, Ricardo Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lourenço Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Álvaro Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Amadeu Rodrigues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lourenço Tavares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Álvaro Ramos having to make a save. 20 minutes into the match, Castrelos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Ribeiro came free, but Emanuel Delgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Luz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Álvaro Ramos made a huge save. After 30 played minutes SC Formilo got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Porto. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amadeu Rodrigues in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Álvaro Ramos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, SC Formilo's Filipe Amorim got a free kick in the 34th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardo Oliveira during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 36 played minutes SC Formilo got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Oliveira. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lourenço Tavares got free with Álvaro Ramos in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Ribeiro in the 43rd minute of play forced Castrelos FC's goalkeeper Emanuel Delgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lourenço Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Álvaro Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Setúbal made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Setúbal in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Delgado saved Castrelos FC from getting behind. In the 53rd minute Joel Setúbal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Delgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 played minutes SC Formilo got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Reis. Lourenço Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Álvaro Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute Amadeu Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Formilo's Ricardo Oliveira got his second yellow card of the match in the 60th minute. The referee ordered Ricardo Oliveira off the ground. After 61 played minutes SC Formilo got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Oliveira. When Emanuel Almeida fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castrelos FC's protests and gave Emanuel Almeida a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd minute, Emanuel Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Delgado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Ribeiro in the 71st minute. Paulo Fernandes hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Álvaro Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu Rodrigues in the 80th minute of play. If Lourenço Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Formilo's Álvaro Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lourenço Tavares in the 92nd minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
