Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Mocarria's Júlio Baptista started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Júlio Baptista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 7thth minute of the game Fábio Figueiredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mocarria's Tomás Castro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Lucas Assis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fábio Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Álvaro Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Baptista in the 18th minute of play. Miguel Maia made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 20thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Álvaro Viana would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Mocarria's zone, Lucas Assis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Castro came out of the goal and Lucas Assis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fábio Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Tomás Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Mocarria getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Abel Sá hit a great ball. Lucas Assis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Castro having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Fábio Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Moitas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fábio Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miguel Maia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lucas Assis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fábio Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucas Assis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Lucas Assis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filipe Assis's late challenge caught a Mocarria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filipe Assis helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mocarria booed when SC Moitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Assis didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Mocarria getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Miguel Maia hit a great ball. Fábio Figueiredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Tomás Castro made a huge save. Álvaro Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Maia in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Fábio Figueiredo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mocarria's Tomás Castro. Tomás Castro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Miguel Maia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Álvaro Viana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Tomás Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Assis in the 91st minute of play. Jacinto Porto struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Tomás Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Moitas. Mocarria succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though SC Moitas had controlled the match.
