Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sérgio Oliveira took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Queirós in the 3rd minute of play forced SC Escoura's goalkeeper Heitor Bessa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Adolfo Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Alexandre Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tomás Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. David Esteves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of SC Escoura booed when SC Lapas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Lapas's zone, Sérgio Oliveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Pinho came out of the goal and Sérgio Oliveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 42 minutes, Armindo Aleixo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Escoura and the SC Lapas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute, David Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sérgio Oliveira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexandre Pinho having to make a save. Tomás Fonseca took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandre Pinho. Alexandre Pinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

58 minutes into the game, Sérgio Oliveira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Alexandre Pinho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Heitor Bessa made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Adolfo Queirós sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the match, SC Lapas's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Fonseca came free, but Alexandre Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, SC Escoura's Sérgio Oliveira tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mariano Pacheco kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. If Tomás Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, SC Lapas's goal looked a bit too open when Sérgio Oliveira came free, but Alexandre Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sérgio Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tomás Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexandre Pinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After 86 minutes, Mariano Pacheco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Lapas and the SC Escoura players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89thth minute of the game Sérgio Oliveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Lapas's Alexandre Pinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Lapas's goalkeeper Alexandre Pinho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Sérgio Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sérgio Oliveira might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandre Pinho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sérgio Oliveira ran back to his position shaking his head.
