Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Adelino Barbosa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute, Gataria's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristiano Leão fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 7 minutes into the match, SC Freixiel's Cristiano Leão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Garcia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Afonso Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Afonso Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Moreira in the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Miguel Coimbra fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marco Garcia, passed just outside the right post. Cristiano Leão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Marco Garcia made a huge save. After 25 played minutes Gataria got a freekick which was hit by Bento Fernandes. SC Freixiel's Sebastião Coimbra couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 26th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gataria. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristiano Leão got free with Marco Garcia in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Afonso Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Cruz in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SC Freixiel's Joaquim Guarda got a free kick in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Barbosa in the 32nd minute of play forced SC Freixiel's goalkeeper Afonso Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. António Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adelino Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Afonso Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. António Moreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Garcia having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Coimbra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Afonso Dantas made an important save on a dangerous shot by António Moreira in the 55th minute. Miguel Coimbra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Marco Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, António Moreira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gataria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Cristiano Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. António Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Afonso Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Leão in the 88th minute of the match. Adelino Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Afonso Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastião Coimbra kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, António Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gataria's supporters rose to their feet, but António Moreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonso Dantas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The SC Freixiel supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gataria's performance. The match ended with a win for Gataria.
