The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Leão helped the player get up and apologised. Jorge Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After having played for 10 minutes, Jorge Leão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valadas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Leão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Amorim struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Simão Morais didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Azinheira FC. 17 minutes into the match, Valadas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diogo Matos came free, but Simão Morais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diogo Abreu hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Anjos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Américo Lima's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diogo Matos in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simão Morais saved Valadas FC from getting behind. After 38 played minutes Valadas FC got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Freitas. After a defensive mix-up in Valadas FC's zone, Diogo Matos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simão Morais came out of the goal and Diogo Matos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Diogo Matos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simão Morais was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diogo Matos to strike the kick off in the second half. Diogo Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Simão Morais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Anjos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo Lima in the 60th minute of play. When Valadas FC's Américo Lima in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Azinheira FC's goalie prevented a goal. 64 minutes into the match, Valadas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diogo Matos came free, but Simão Morais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Valadas FC's Jorge Leão got a free kick in the 70th minute. After 76 minutes, Júlio Jesus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valadas FC and the Azinheira FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pedro Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Morais having to interfere. Diogo Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Simão Morais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Júlio Jesus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Anjos having to interfere. If Daniel Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Azinheira FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
