Vicente Pacheco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Correia in the 49th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vasco Trindade made a kick off. Óscar Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Pacheco having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Alexandre Pacheco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Avanca FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Fernando Gaspar hit a great ball. Óscar Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adelino Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasco Trindade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th play minute Ricardo Vale came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vicente Pacheco. 0-2. The supporters of Porteira FC booed when Avanca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Porteira FC's Rogério Martins tried to score from far away in the 93rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
