Rodrigo Pinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Maia in the 9th minute of play forced SC Marmelos's goalkeeper Joaquim Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. António Guerreiro took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Pinho. Rodrigo Pinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Daniel Barbosa hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Manuel Araújo kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, António Guerreiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 38th minute, Daniel Barbosa had to leave the field with a concussion. José Sousa charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Sousa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gabriel Assis struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Joaquim Leal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Afife FC. The wind increased when Alexandre Mota made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Afife FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Pinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by António Guerreiro. Alexandre Mota recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Daniel Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Alexandre Mota fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to SC Marmelos getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Adolfo Veiga hit a great ball. After 76 played minutes, Afife FC's Pedro Azevedo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joaquim Leal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Afife FC reached it. A hard and well directed shot from Pedro Azevedo led 76 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. SC Marmelos's Joaquim Leal became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-2. If Gabriel Assis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Assis in the 85th minute of play forced SC Marmelos's goalkeeper Joaquim Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Pinho made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when António Guerreiro sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Maia during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With an all-out effort, SC Marmelos's Rodrigo Pinho threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alexandre Mota, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 96th minute, Simão Viana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
