Júlio Gueifão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diogo Figueiredo hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 15th match minute, SC Pardinheira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Jesus to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Xavier Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, SC Pardinheira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simão Vale to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in SC Pardinheira's zone, António Bessa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xavier Gaspar came out of the goal and António Bessa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Júlio Gueifão struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Marco Sá didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Pardinheira. Marco Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Miranda in the 33rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Júlio Gueifão in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Sá prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rogério Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Sá having to interfere. Marco Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Gueifão, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Simão Vale struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Marco Sá didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Pardinheira. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rogério Miranda to make the kick off. Carlos Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Nuno Setúbal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute, Joaquim Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, Carlos Gomes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Sendim's Marco Sá got control of the ball when Júlio Gueifão tried to sneak it across the goal line. 1-0 became the score in the 72nd minute when António Bessa elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Júlio Gueifão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Marco Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Júlio Gueifão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of SC Pardinheira booed when Sendim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogério Miranda struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Marco Sá didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Pardinheira. SC Pardinheira's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
