Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Poldras's Alexandre Matias started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hélder Abreu's late challenge caught a SC Poldras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hélder Abreu helped the player get up and apologised. Hélder Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Armindo Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Cristóvão Moutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alexandre Matias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armindo Ramos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Cristóvão Moutinho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice moves Armindo Ramos could shoot a difficult shot in the 12th minute, which Cristóvão Moutinho however easily saved by the left post. Cristóvão Moutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Matias, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the game, one of SC Alquera:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Cláudio Amaro shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 18 minutes into the game, Alexandre Matias recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristóvão Moutinho. Alexandre Matias showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A hard shot 26 in the game by Armindo Ramos from a close distance when the talented Cristóvão Moutinho managed to make a qualified save. SC Alquera's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in SC Alquera's zone, Armindo Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristóvão Moutinho came out of the goal and Armindo Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Alexandre Matias managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Poldras's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre Matias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristóvão Moutinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Armindo Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After 52 minutes, Ricardo Veiga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Poldras and the SC Alquera players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 51st minute of the game. One of SC Poldras:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Alquera:s goal. 56 minutes into the match, SC Poldras's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Nogueira came free, but Paulo Matos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Joaquim Domingues fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 59 minutes into the game, Joaquim Domingues cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Paulo Matos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Augusto Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Matos having to interfere. If Joaquim Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Augusto Nogueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Matos was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Alexandre Matias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Alquera's Cristóvão Moutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Matias in the 71st minute of play. Cristóvão Moutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Matias in the 72nd minute of play. In the 76thth minute of the game Alexandre Matias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Alquera's Cristóvão Moutinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Armindo Ramos struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Cristóvão Moutinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Poldras. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Poldras.
