Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Basílio Almeida got the match started through his kick off. Armando Carvalho's late challenge caught a Contenda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armando Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SC Rocha getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Armando Carvalho hit a great ball. The long shot by Pedro Assunção in the 6th minute really tested Albertino Lima's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 13 minutes into the match, Contenda's Basílio Almeida sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albertino Lima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Basílio Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albertino Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basílio Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Luz in the 24th minute of play forced Contenda's goalkeeper João Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Contenda's João Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Pedroso in the 27th minute of play. André Melo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Albertino Lima skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 35th match minute, Contenda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Torres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Luz's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Albertino Lima made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when André Melo sent off a good shot on target. 43 minutes into the match, Contenda's André Melo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albertino Lima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. João Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Luz in the 45th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SC Rocha's Armando Carvalho got a free kick in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Luz to strike the kick off in the second half. Albertino Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Almeida in the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Basílio Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertino Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Álvaro Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basílio Almeida took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albertino Lima. Albertino Lima dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. João Torres came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Rocha's Alexandre Pedroso. But to his dismay, Alexandre Pedroso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 88th minute, one of SC Rocha:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Rocha. In the 89th minute there was a penalty for Contenda. Pedro Assunção stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Albertino Lima. 2-1. In the 94th minute, Alexandre Pedroso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Rocha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2.
