Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tiago Vieira started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Crujo defense, Carlos Correia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Campos. The Crujo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Campos should have stopped the shot. 8 minutes into the match, Tiago Vieira notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SC Cancelada's Bernardo Carvalho. Bernardo Carvalho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lourenço Fernandes's late challenge caught a SC Cancelada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lourenço Fernandes helped the player get up and apologised. Lourenço Fernandes hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute Rui Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Campos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiago Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Carvalho having to interfere. Rui Macedo had several of the Crujo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Paulo Campos as he didn't even see the shot coming. Inácio Moniz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Carvalho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Bruno Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute Crujo were awarded a corner. Rodrigo Faro went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Crujo's Sebastião Silva to fire away a dangerous shot which Bernardo Carvalho despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 36 minutes of play, SC Cancelada's Carlos Correia made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Campos was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Rui Macedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Campos was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rui Macedo to make the kick off. Paulo Campos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Campos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. With a little luck, SC Cancelada's Bernardo Carvalho got control of the ball when Inácio Moniz tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Tiago Vieira came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Crujo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiago Vieira couldn't finish the play. 64 minutes into the match, SC Cancelada's goalkeeper Bernardo Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiago Vieira. Vicente Assunção charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vicente Assunção the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Vieira in the 66th minute of play forced SC Cancelada's goalkeeper Bernardo Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vicente Assunção was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 67th minute, Vicente Assunção hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiago Vieira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Carvalho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 80th match minute, SC Cancelada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Lopes to maneuver through the defense. Inácio Moniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Bernardo Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SC Cancelada's Sebastião Mota got a free kick in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Vieira in the 86th minute of play forced SC Cancelada's goalkeeper Bernardo Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Carvalho made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Inácio Moniz sent off a good shot on target. Carlos Correia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Campos having to make a save. Carlos Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Campos having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Lourenço Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to SC Cancelada getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Sebastião Mota hit a great ball. Inácio Moniz took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardo Carvalho. Bernardo Carvalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Crujo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Cancelada.
