Luís Gaspar struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Miguel Mendes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarriao FC. Albertino Branco charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 32nd match minute, Percinheira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Mendes to maneuver through the defense. Sarriao FC's André Campos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Percinheira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Nunes in the 40th minute of play forced Sarriao FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Guerreiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Nunes struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Gustavo Guerreiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Percinheira. Gustavo Guerreiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The wind increased when Paulo Faro made the kick off in the second half. Sarriao FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Gaspar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miguel Mendes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Gaspar's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. If Luís Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sarriao FC fully deserved thier win.
