Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 4thth minute of the game José Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Covinhas's Amadeu Bessa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Ameiro's Carlos Gueifão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amadeu Bessa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandre Resende got free with Eusébio Gueifão in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Carlos Gueifão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1-0 became the score in the 10th minute when Alexandre Resende elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Joaquim Cardoso was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. SC Covinhas's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a little luck, Ameiro's Eusébio Gueifão got control of the ball when Alexandre Resende tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, SC Covinhas's goal looked a bit too open when José Costa came free, but Amadeu Bessa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If José Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Magalhães in the 23rd minute of play forced SC Covinhas's goalkeeper Amadeu Bessa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeu Bessa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Gueifão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the SC Covinhas defense, José Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amadeu Bessa. The SC Covinhas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amadeu Bessa should have stopped the shot. In the 31st match minute, SC Covinhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lourenço Delgado to maneuver through the defense. Joaquim Cardoso might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eusébio Gueifão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joaquim Cardoso ran back to his position shaking his head. Alexandre Resende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Gueifão having to interfere. If José Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrique Dias during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Covinhas's Henrique Dias got a free kick in the 45th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Covinhas's zone, Carlos Gueifão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeu Bessa came out of the goal and Carlos Gueifão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquim Cardoso made a kick off. Joaquim Cardoso struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Eusébio Gueifão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Covinhas. Amadeu Bessa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Gueifão, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Alexandre Resende managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Covinhas's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre Resende was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusébio Gueifão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Ameiro getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. António Gueifão hit a great ball. Joaquim Cardoso took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eusébio Gueifão. Eusébio Gueifão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Lourenço Delgado hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Alexandre Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Eusébio Gueifão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Ameiro's Carlos Gueifão dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. In the 89th match minute, SC Covinhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Dias to maneuver through the defense. Ameiro's Gil Cardoso shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 90th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Amadeu Bessa but with some difficulty. In the 93rd minute, Gil Cardoso sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Covinhas's Amadeu Bessa didn't even have to move. 96 minutes into the game, Alexandre Resende cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Eusébio Gueifão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
