Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when José Ramos took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SC Refega's zone, José Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Mendes came out of the goal and José Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SC Refega's Delfim Simões got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 7 played minutes SC Gorjao got a freekick which was hit by Diogo Neves. Fernando Gonçalves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. If Delfim Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, Nuno Sá had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raul Mendes. SC Refega's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nuno Sá was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When SC Refega's Delfim Simões in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Gorjao's goalie prevented a goal. If Nuno Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Mendes having to interfere. Nuno Sá who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Raul Mendes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Raul Mendes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nuno Sá in the 34th minute. A collision led to SC Refega getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Rui Fonseca hit a great ball. If Gabriel Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Delfim Simões to make the kick off. Delfim Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Fernando Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the match, SC Refega's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Sá came free, but Raul Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nuno Sá blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raul Mendes having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Pinho during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th match minute, SC Gorjao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Pinho to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuno Sá in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raul Mendes saved SC Refega from getting behind. In the 78th minute, Gabriel Cardoso fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With a little luck, SC Gorjao's Fernando Gonçalves got control of the ball when Gabriel Cardoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gabriel Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Gonçalves having to interfere. Gabriel Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Fernando Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Gorjao's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
