Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Refega's Delfim Simões started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Gabriel Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 8thth minute of the game Gabriel Cardoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Porcelhe's Francisco Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Gabriel Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Simões in the 11th minute of play. After 13 minutes, Cristiano Ribeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Porcelhe and the SC Refega players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Porcelhe getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Cristiano Ribeiro hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, SC Refega's Bruno Cruz tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Cristiano Ribeiro got his second yellow card in the match during the 15th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Cristiano Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Francisco Costa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delfim Simões went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 30 minutes into the match, Delfim Simões had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francisco Costa. Porcelhe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delfim Simões was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. José Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Mendes having to interfere. With a little luck, SC Refega's Raul Mendes got control of the ball when José Monteiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Monteiro got free with Raul Mendes in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
If Nuno Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Mendes having to interfere. Gabriel Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Costa having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Porcelhe's goalkeeper Francisco Costa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Cardoso. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, José Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porcelhe's supporters rose to their feet, but José Monteiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Mendes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomás Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Raul Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Cardoso struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Francisco Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Refega. Raul Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th match minute, Porcelhe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. Porcelhe's Francisco Costa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Porcelhe from getting a goal against them. If José Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delfim Simões in the 84th minute of the match. José Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Raul Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Porcelhe's José Monteiro got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The SC Refega players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
