Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eusébio Paiva took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute Eusébio Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Luís Moura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SC Lameirao's Daniel Vieira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save SC Lameirao from getting a goal against them. SC Marmelar's Luís Moura got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Marmelar's goalkeeper Rodrigo Moura, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SC Marmelar's Rodrigo Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Paiva in the 16th minute of play. After 17 minutes, Luís Moura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Marmelar and the SC Lameirao players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SC Marmelar getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Luís Moura hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artur Moreira during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Daniel Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bento Coimbra in the 21st minute of play. Cristiano Aguiar charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristiano Aguiar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SC Marmelar booed when SC Lameirao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bento Coimbra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 1-0 became the score in the 35th minute when Luís Moura elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Bento Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Vieira having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, SC Lameirao's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Moura came free, but Daniel Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Moura scored 2-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Vieira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bento Coimbra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luís Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bento Coimbra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Daniel Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amílcar Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Moura having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, SC Lameirao's Cristiano Aguiar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodrigo Moura narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Luís Moura made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Vieira. SC Lameirao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lúcio Fernandes during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. SC Marmelar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Lameirao the free kick. In the 98th match minute, SC Marmelar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Antunes to maneuver through the defense. SC Lameirao's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
