Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manuel Ribeiro started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, SC Espinheiro's Manuel Ribeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eusébio Jesus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cláudio Viegas during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cláudio Viegas kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. When SC Espinheiro's Manuel Ribeiro in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Adarse's goalie prevented a goal. With his leg Paulo Pedroso managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Adarse's Hugo Anjos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Manuel Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Eusébio Jesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 played minutes SC Espinheiro got a freekick which was hit by Basílio Martins. After recieving a nice pass, Adarse's Carlos Cabral tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. SC Espinheiro's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bruno Queirós 34 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. In the 42nd minute Bruno Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Pedroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bruno Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, SC Espinheiro's Paulo Pedroso got control of the ball when Hugo Anjos tried to sneak it across the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Bruno Queirós notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of SC Espinheiro's Paulo Pedroso. Paulo Pedroso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
59 minutes into the match, Adarse's goalkeeper Eusébio Jesus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristóvão Faria. Hugo Anjos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusébio Jesus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristóvão Faria in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the game, Jaime Vale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Paulo Pedroso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carlos Rocha's late challenge caught a Adarse's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Rocha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th match minute, SC Espinheiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Adarse's Eusébio Jesus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Adarse from getting a goal against them. Cláudio Viegas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Pedroso having to interfere. The supporters of SC Espinheiro booed when Adarse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adarse walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
