Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Manuel Ribeiro made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6thth minute of the game Basílio Martins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rebordais's Pedro Figueiredo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Rebordais getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. André Ferreira hit a great ball. Rafael Pinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the match, SC Espinheiro's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Valente came free, but Paulo Pedroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Simão Viana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Espinheiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rebordais the free kick. Simão Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Inácio Valente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Cardoso during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hugo Cardoso hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the SC Espinheiro defense, Inácio Valente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Pedroso. The SC Espinheiro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Pedroso should have stopped the shot. Heitor Brás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Paulo Pedroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Cristóvão Faria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Pedro Figueiredo made a huge save. Manuel Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafael Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Pedroso having to interfere. When Manuel Ribeiro fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Espinheiro's protests and gave Manuel Ribeiro a yellow card for diving instead. Manuel Ribeiro hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Rafael Pinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Inácio Valente scored 0-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Pedroso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Rebordais were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Inácio Valente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rebordais's supporters rose to their feet, but Inácio Valente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Pedroso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rebordais! In the 58th minute there was a penalty for SC Espinheiro. Amílcar Costa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pedro Figueiredo. 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Rebordais's zone, Manuel Ribeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Figueiredo came out of the goal and Manuel Ribeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Hugo Cardoso was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 65 minutes had been played. After 66 played minutes SC Espinheiro got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Cardoso. In the 70thth minute of the game Inácio Valente who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Espinheiro's Paulo Pedroso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rafael Pinto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Paulo Pedroso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inácio Valente in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Pedroso saved SC Espinheiro from getting behind. A collision led to SC Espinheiro getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Simão Viana hit a great ball. SC Espinheiro's Paulo Pedroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Valente in the 84th minute of play. A hard shot 85 in the game by Rafael Pinto from a close distance when the talented Paulo Pedroso managed to make a qualified save. SC Espinheiro's players were relieved. In the 87th minute Inácio Valente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Pedroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Pedroso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Pinto in the 94th minute. Inácio Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rebordais played a much better game than SC Espinheiro and deserved their victory. The SC Espinheiro players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
