Heitor Matos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Heitor Gonçalves having to make a save. Heitor Gonçalves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Porto in the 13th minute of play. After recieving a nice pass, SC Porcelhe's Domingos Abreu tried to score from far away in the 29th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Heitor Gonçalves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. António Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Heitor Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heitor Gonçalves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 minutes, Rafael Neves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Porcelhe and the Lapas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th match minute, SC Porcelhe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Neves to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute Lapas FC were awarded a corner. André Brás went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in André Brás almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SC Porcelhe's Cândido Faria did a great save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rogério Porto to make the kick off. Lapas FC's Heitor Gonçalves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Lapas FC from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Lapas FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Porcelhe:s goal. When the match had been going on for 56 minutes, SC Porcelhe's Domingos Abreu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Heitor Gonçalves. In the 61st match minute, SC Porcelhe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Neves to maneuver through the defense. In the 64thth minute of the game Xavier Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Porcelhe's Cândido Faria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Xavier Costa notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SC Porcelhe's Cândido Faria. Cândido Faria was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Heitor Matos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Heitor Gonçalves made a huge save. 73 minutes into the match, SC Porcelhe's goal looked a bit too open when Xavier Costa came free, but Cândido Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Xavier Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cândido Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Pedro Faro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to SC Porcelhe getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Domingos Abreu hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lapas FC's zone, Rogério Porto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Heitor Gonçalves came out of the goal and Rogério Porto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Heitor Matos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Heitor Gonçalves made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogério Porto in the 100th minute of play forced Lapas FC's goalkeeper Heitor Gonçalves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
