To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joel Delgado was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gonçalo Viana to make the kick off. A collision led to Silvas FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Rui Matias hit a great ball. Gonçalo Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastião Andrade during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Silvas FC booed when Colmeosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Gonçalo Viana notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Colmeosa's Fernando Viana. Fernando Viana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Colmeosa defense, João Neves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Viana. The Colmeosa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Viana should have stopped the shot. When Filipe Delgado came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Colmeosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipe Delgado couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge Reis during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Silvas FC's Jorge Reis got a free kick in the 94th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Silvas FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colmeosa had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
