Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Longa's Lucas Lima started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heitor Brás in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Leiria prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Tavares hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 10th match minute, Brandara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heitor Brás to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute, Alexandre Leiria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by David Mendes from long distance, 12 minutes into the match, got Daniel Macedo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Heitor Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Guerreiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Heitor Brás managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brandara's supporters rose to their feet, but Heitor Brás was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Leiria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brandara's Daniel Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Lima in the 27th minute of play. After 38 minutes, Jacinto Teixeira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brandara and the Longa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jacinto Teixeira hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Longa's Lucas Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Heitor Brás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Guerreiro to make the kick off. Lucas Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Heitor Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Leiria having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Lucas Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Tavares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Heitor Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Leiria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Guerreiro in the 74th minute of play. If José Guerreiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Guerreiro in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Leiria saved Longa from getting behind. Lucas Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Jacinto Teixeira came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Brandara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Teixeira couldn't finish the play. After 95 minutes, João Vaz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Longa and the Brandara players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute, João Vaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 98 minutes Longa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oliveira Bessa who took care of the corner kick. The Brandara players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
