Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manuel Nogueira started the match with the kick off. Luís Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Nogueira in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Guardizela FC's Ricardo Paiva got a free kick in the 4th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Manuel Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paradanta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Nogueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fábio Henriques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Jesus in the 8th minute of play. Manuel Nogueira succeeded in the game's 9th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 13th minute, Manuel Nogueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guardizela FC's Luís Gonçalves got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manuel Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Luís Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Guardizela FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Monteiro. Fábio Henriques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Jesus in the 30th minute of play. When Manuel Nogueira came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Paradanta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Nogueira couldn't finish the play. Daniel Jesus struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Fábio Henriques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guardizela FC. If Paulo Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Guardizela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Nogueira came free, but Luís Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Nogueira in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Almeida saved Guardizela FC from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Gonçalves to strike the kick off in the second half. Paradanta FC's Fábio Henriques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Gonçalves in the 53rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Guardizela FC defense, Paulo Porto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Almeida. The Guardizela FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Almeida should have stopped the shot. In the 58th minute, Domingos Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Manuel Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domingos Veiga during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Domingos Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 65thth minute of the game Luís Gonçalves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paradanta FC's Fábio Henriques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th minute, Manuel Nogueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 69 minutes into the game, one of Paradanta FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Paulo Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute of the match Filipe Teixeira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís Almeida showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Paulo Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Almeida having to interfere. Paradanta FC's Vasco Assis suffered a concussion after 87 minutes and had to leave the field. When Ricardo Paiva fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guardizela FC's protests and gave Ricardo Paiva a yellow card for diving instead. Ricardo Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Luís Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Jesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Jesus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Henriques having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Guardizela FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Paradanta FC.
