Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Jorge Pinho made the kick off and thus started the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristóvão Maia got free with Miguel Soares in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 7th play minute Cristóvão Maia came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Miguel Soares. 1-0. Américo Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ricardo Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Alvora FC booed when Asagaes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Jesus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Soares came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Alvora FC's Cristóvão Maia. But to his dismay, Cristóvão Maia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 20th minute, Cristóvão Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Brás recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alvora FC's Ricardo Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Brás in the 30th minute of play. Américo Ferreira struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Ricardo Neto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Asagaes. After a rather tough play, Alvora FC's Bruno Garcia got a free kick in the 34th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Alvora FC's goal looked a bit too open when Américo Ferreira came free, but Ricardo Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Miguel Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Asagaes's Afonso Ramos got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After having played for 55 minutes, Américo Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asagaes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Américo Ferreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Dias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 62 played minutes Alvora FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Maia. Domingos Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Asagaes's Ricardo Neto threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pedro Brás, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Pinho in the 73rd minute of play forced Asagaes's goalkeeper Miguel Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristóvão Maia struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Miguel Soares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alvora FC. Pedro Jesus's late challenge caught a Alvora FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Jesus helped the player get up and apologised. Américo Ferreira took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Neto. Ricardo Neto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 88th minute Cristóvão Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Asagaes's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Maia came free, but Miguel Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Asagaes's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Pinho came free, but Miguel Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristóvão Maia in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Soares saved Asagaes from getting behind. Pedro Jesus was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 95th minute, Pedro Jesus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Asagaes players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Alvora FC.
