Alexandre Reis was a little too slow when Óscar Guarda got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basílio Melo in the 19th minute of play forced Buarcos's goalkeeper Alexandre Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emílio Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Garcia having to interfere. Luís Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Buarcos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Basílio Melo scored to the left of an out of position Alexandre Reis, making the score, 3-0. A collision led to Buarcos getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Daniel Leite hit a great ball. Luís Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Emílio Barros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gonçalo Garcia was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 36th match minute, SC Lamelas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basílio Melo to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filipe Azevedo during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Despite this Gonçalo Garcia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 43 played minutes, Buarcos's Humberto Miranda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gonçalo Garcia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Buarcos reached it. When Óscar Guarda fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Lamelas's protests and gave Óscar Guarda a yellow card for diving instead. Diamantino Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Emílio Barros made the kick off in the second half. Gonçalo Garcia made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Diamantino Andrade sent off a good shot on target. Gonçalo Garcia was a little too slow when Diamantino Andrade got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 3-1. If Emílio Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonçalo Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emílio Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Rogério Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gonçalo Garcia was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from António Mendes. Buarcos's Alexandre Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Soares in the 78th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, SC Lamelas's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Barros came free, but Gonçalo Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to SC Lamelas getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Óscar Guarda hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Lisboa during the 100th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Buarcos's Carlos Lisboa got a free kick in the 101st minute.
