Cucujaes's Cristóvão Pinheiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Cucujaes from getting a goal against them. 14 minutes into the match, SC Grijo's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Assunção came free, but Cláudio Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Cucujaes's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Silva came free, but Cristóvão Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Silva in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristóvão Pinheiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Cucujaes's Cristóvão Pinheiro got control of the ball when Lucas Araújo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manuel Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to SC Grijo getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Ricardo Nunes hit a great ball. Francisco Trindade took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cláudio Nascimento. SC Grijo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cristóvão Pinheiro didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when SC Grijo's Manuel Silva shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. SC Grijo's Cláudio Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Ribeiro in the 44th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Cristóvão Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Araújo in the 51st minute of the match. In the 54th minute Manuel Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristóvão Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Rogério Moniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Manuel Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Ribeiro didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-2 via right post in the game's 62nd minute. Cucujaes's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Cucujaes's Cristiano Ribeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristóvão Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Araújo in the 80th minute of play. Manuel Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cucujaes had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
