When Fernando Lima, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 75 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The André Melo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, João Assis managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Pocinhos's supporters rose to their feet, but João Assis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandro Nunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If João Assis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sandro Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, SC Pocinhos's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Correia came free, but André Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
