Simão Bessa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tavila's Simão Bessa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Gueifão in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Fábio Gueifão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simão Bessa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. António Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the game, António Vale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Daniel Paredes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. António Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Daniel Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Manuel Matias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Resgatados's Daniel Paredes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save SC Resgatados from getting a goal against them. Armindo Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lourenço Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fábio Gueifão made a kick off. Daniel Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armindo Melo in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute Armindo Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, SC Resgatados's Lourenço Teixeira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simão Bessa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. When Albertino Matos fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tavila's protests and gave Albertino Matos a yellow card for diving instead. Albertino Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Daniel Paredes came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tavila's Armindo Melo. But to his dismay, Armindo Melo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Fábio Gueifão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Simão Bessa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tavila's zone, Lourenço Teixeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simão Bessa came out of the goal and Lourenço Teixeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes in the game, Fábio Gueifão fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Simão Bessa having to interfere. If Armindo Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tavila had won after a very even match.
