Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gil Amorim started the match with the kick off. Morais FC's Joaquim Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 4 minutes into the game, André Machado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Caio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Morais FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, SC Caio's André Machado got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 7thth minute of the game Manuel Cardoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Caio's Manuel Macedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manuel Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The supporters of SC Caio booed when Morais FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Emílio Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rui Lima was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Manuel Macedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Matias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Amorim in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of SC Caio booed when Morais FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 24 played minutes Morais FC got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Rocha. If Manuel Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Matias didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 30th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After 32 played minutes SC Caio got a freekick which was hit by Simão Moniz. After a defensive mix-up in SC Caio's zone, Manuel Cardoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Macedo came out of the goal and Manuel Cardoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manuel Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Macedo having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gil Amorim in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Matias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SC Caio's André Machado got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manuel Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquim Ramos made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Morais FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Amorim came free, but Rafael Matias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquim Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Manuel Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquim Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Macedo having to interfere. In the 79th minute of the match Óscar Domingues sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Matias skillfully saved the ball. Rafael Matias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. A collision led to Morais FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Pedro Cabral hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gil Amorim in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Matias saved Morais FC from getting behind. Gil Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Matias having to interfere. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Caio! In the 90th minute there was a penalty for Morais FC. Rui Lima stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Manuel Macedo. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Morais FC's zone, Gil Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Matias came out of the goal and Gil Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Morais FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
