Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eusébio Pinto kicked off to start the match. Miguel Morais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusébio Pinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. If João Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 14 minutes, Eusébio Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Queijas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusébio Porto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Armando Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Vieira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armando Cardoso's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute, Afonso Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute Eusébio Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Eusébio Pinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moncarxa's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusébio Pinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Morais breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manuel Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Porto in the 27th minute of play. Armando Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Manuel Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusébio Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Vieira having to interfere. Eusébio Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Manuel Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 48 minutes of play, SC Queijas's Armando Cardoso made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Vieira was left in no man's land by his defense there!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eusébio Porto made a kick off. With a little luck, Moncarxa's Manuel Vieira got control of the ball when Armando Cardoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mariano Correia during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Moncarxa getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Mariano Correia hit a great ball. In the 56thth minute of the game Eusébio Porto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moncarxa's Manuel Vieira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When João Moniz came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Moncarxa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Moniz couldn't finish the play. Miguel Morais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Pinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 minutes, Eusébio Porto made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Moncarxa's Manuel Vieira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute, João Moniz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Moncarxa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Eusébio Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Cardoso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Vieira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. Eusébio Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Vieira having to interfere. SC Queijas's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
