Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when António Alves took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jaime Sousa struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Hélder Anjos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Veral. If António Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Santarém in the 11th minute of play forced Veral's goalkeeper Bento Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute Daniel Santarém shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bento Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaime Sousa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hélder Anjos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Veral's Jaime Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 22 minutes, Bruno Nogueira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Sobreda and the Veral players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bruno Nogueira hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 24 played minutes SC Sobreda got a freekick which was hit by Diamantino Leite. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaspar Moreira in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hélder Anjos saved SC Sobreda from getting behind. A hard shot 28 in the game by Jaime Sousa from a close distance when the talented Hélder Anjos managed to make a qualified save. SC Sobreda's players were relieved. Jaime Sousa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Hélder Anjos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hélder Anjos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Moreira in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Veral's Gaspar Moreira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hélder Anjos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gaspar Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Anjos having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, SC Sobreda's António Alves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bento Abreu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to SC Sobreda getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Diamantino Leite hit a great ball.

Gaspar Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hélder Anjos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Moreira in the 67th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Gaspar Moreira notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of SC Sobreda's Hélder Anjos. Hélder Anjos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, SC Sobreda's Simão Figueiredo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Veral's Jaime Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hélder Anjos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Moreira in the 76th minute of the match. After 77 minutes of play SC Sobreda's Diamantino Leite was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Veral booed when SC Sobreda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaspar Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Hélder Anjos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 minutes, Daniel Santarém made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Veral's Bento Abreu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hélder Anjos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaspar Moreira's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
