Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gaspar Moreira took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Veral's zone, Hélder Fontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bento Abreu came out of the goal and Hélder Fontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Morais kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 12thth minute of the game Hélder Fontes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Veral's Bento Abreu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Gemieira FC booed when Veral was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adelino Moniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Manuel Brito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bento Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Adelino Moniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Moreira in the 28th minute of play. Gemieira FC's Adelino Moniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Moreira in the 31st minute of play. In the 37th minute, Gaspar Moreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Hélder Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélder Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Bento Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gemieira FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gemieira FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hélder Fontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cândido Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Veral's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Simões in the 88th minute. The corner led Veral's Mariano Simões to fire away a dangerous shot which Adelino Moniz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gaspar Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Moniz having to interfere. Gemieira FC's Adelino Moniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Sousa in the 95th minute of play. After 95 minutes, Raul Pereira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gemieira FC and the Veral players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Gemieira FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
